Decisions can be made quickly, or they can be made after careful thought. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The decisions that people make quickly are always wrong. Use reasons and specific examples to support your opinion.
Some people say that people have to make decisions carefully to keep them from casing unexpected results. As far as I'm concerned, it is beneficial to make quickly decisions. This is because people have instinct and experience and they must make decisions quickly in a emergency situation.
To begin with, a emergency situation can be happened to almost all people, these situations are unpredictable and if it happens, people might not have much time to think, so people should help immediately one in dangerous. For my personal experience, when I tumbled out on the staircase, so my knee was bleeding out. As soon as I said to my father "What should I do?", then my father was calling the 911 and applied ointment on my skin. Without my father’s help, there are scars on my knee.
Moreover, the older people are getting the more they have a valuable instinct and a useful experience. When I listen to what the elderly’ saying, their thinking and doing is so different compared to mine. This is because they've done so many trial and error and they get instinct to help them make decision without mistake and long-time thinking. When I did part time job in company, Even though one of my senior forgot bringing the presentation files, he didn't get frustrated. He gave a presentation very well without slide. I guess his accumulated experience to deal with that kind of situations helped him at that time.
To conclude, I disagree that decision people make quickly are always wrong. Two significant reasons are that swift decision is needed in a emergency situation and instinct and experience can bring a good result. Given the time and proper condition than I prefer to make decision carefully with a long time, but sometimes time is running out so people have to make fast decision.
